The water purified by the Geyser Prestige filter is close in its properties to the meltwater of ancient glaciers, which is recognized as the most environmentally friendly and beneficial for humans.
The reverse osmosis technology used in the Geyser Prestige filter consists in filtering water through a semi-permeable membrane. The pore sizes of the membrane are so small that only water molecules pass. The size of the molecules of most impurities, as well as bacteria and viruses, is significantly larger than water molecules, so they do not pass through the membrane. The system operates at a pressure in the supply line of at least 3 atm.
STEPS OF WATER CLEANING BY THE REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM GEYSER PRESTIGE:
Pre-treatment (water treatment to increase membrane life):
sedimentary cartridge PP 5 - 10SL - removes insoluble particles up to 5 microns in size (rust, suspensions);
CBC 10 - 10SL - carbon block made of high quality coconut activated carbon, porosity 10 microns. - 2 pcs.
Resource 6 - 12 months depending on water quality.
Reverse osmosis membrane 1812-50 GPD - removal of all impurities, including bacteria and viruses. Resource 1 - 3 years (depending on water quality).
Carbon post-filter (activated carbon) - improves the taste of water. The resource is 12 months.
