Waterboss 5100Q KDF 55 - Water Softener and Iron remover (sulfide)

The system is designed for complex water purification from iron ions, manganese and hardness salts and hydrogen sulfide. They are installed as the main filter, or as part of a water treatment system in private homes, factories, restaurants, cafes, etc. They are made in a compact "cabinet" type housing that combines the functions of a filter housing and a salt dissolving tank, contains a finely dispersed sorbent of increased capacity, which ensures high performance and complete extraction of impurities, especially iron and manganese and hydrogen sulfide.

Counter-current regeneration in a compressed layer ensures the most effective recovery of the sorbent from accumulated contaminants. The patented mesh flow distributor evenly distributes the flow of purified water throughout the entire volume of the sorbent.

This filter model is equipped with a deeply redesigned flow switching valve unit, which is responsible for the correct regeneration of the filter and its reliable operation throughout its entire service life.

– The service life of the systems is 10 years (if preventive work was done on time). During operation, the owner of the system is only required to add salt, which is a consumable for regeneration cycles.

Requirements for source water in the Waterboss system:

1) Hardness - no more than 31 mg eq/l
2) Content of divalent iron - no more than 10 mg/l
3) Content of trivalent iron - no more than 0.5 mg/l
4) pH - from 6 to 8
5) Content of petroleum products - no more than 1 mg/l

The Waterboss softener does not clean water, bacterial contamination, oil products, organic substances. If the water contains these impurities, additional equipment must be installed.
