Description
It was developed and used for the purification of any type of water (drinking, industrial, circulating, waste) from a huge range of contaminants, including iron at concentrations up to 50 mg / l and manganese up to 2.5 mg / l. Sorbent AS - a catalytic aluminosilicate sorbent for physicochemical water purification, is the most common filtering load in the Russian Federation .. It is used to remove a wide range of contaminants, including: iron, manganese, chromium, strontium, barium, heavy non-ferrous metals, aluminum, oil products, phenol, fluorine, radionuclides. Sorbent AS is recommended for use in both pressure and non-pressure systems, as the main or multilayer element of the loading layer. Especially effective when combined with "MS Sorbent".
  • Layer height 40 - 100 cm
  • Filtration rate 10-20 m h /
  • Washing speed of the AC during expansion by 30-35% 18-20 m h /
  • Flushing speed АС + МS with expansion by 30-35% 35 m h /
  • Backwash duration 10-15 min

The sorbent does not require the use of any chemical reagents for regeneration. Periodic flushing with water or water-air flushing (which is more effective) is necessary and sufficient. It is widely used for post-treatment of waste water from oil and gas industry facilities, main and auxiliary workshops of metallurgical production, including clean cycles, when preparing water for thermal power plants, when replacing loads in high-pressure and non-pressure filters. Sorbent AC is not consumed during operation, it is a very durable material. The sorbent is not additionally treated with chemically active coatings based on manganese or other catalytically active metal, which excludes the possibility of failure in operation when these surfaces are exhausted or washed off. This is one of the fundamental differences between the sorbent and the loads such as BIRM, Greensand, MZhF, black sands, etc.

ADVANTAGES OF DOWNLOADING SORBENT AS
  • Service life up to 10 years;
  • Does not require oxidants for regeneration, but it can work effectively with their use;
  • Resistant to pre-chlorination of water;
  • The presence of hydrogen sulfide does not reduce the loading performance;
  • Due to its large capacity, it is able to retain high concentrations of iron and thereby extend the service life of ion exchange resins;
  • Retains iron in concentrations up to 50 mg / l, incl. bivalent, trivalent, organic, bacterial and colloidal;
  • Effectively removes manganese up to mg / l and aluminum;
  • The dirt holding capacity is on average 3-5 times higher than that of sand filters;
  • It is worth noting the low cost in the advantages of downloading;
  • The transition to the second generation loading allows to increase the productivity of water treatment plants;
  • No running costs.
Considering all of the above, conclusions should be drawn, and at the first opportunity it is imperative to use loading in practice. P.S. download areas of application cover:
  • Sediment filtration;
  • Catalytic water clarification;
  • Industrial deferrization;
  • Industrial demanganation.
