PA202 is a strongly basic macroporous anion exchange resin designed to remove nitrate ions from drinking water supply systems; as well as for the purification of water from nitrate ions in industry and wastewater treatment. The PA202 ion exchange resin has a high capacity for nitrate ions in the presence of sulfate ions compared to conventional strongly basic anion exchangers. The regeneration of resin PA202 is carried out with a solution of sodium chloride, for the preparation of which it is desirable to use preliminary softened water.
