RO-8CF membrane is a spare diaphragm to a 100-GPD reverse-osmosis device. The membrane has a corresponding flow of 100 gallons per day (GPD), which corresponds to approx. 380 litres per day. This means that the diaphragm can produce up to 380 litres pure water per day.

The reverse-osmosis membrane is suitable for removing up to 99 % of the total dissolved solids (TDS), bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, arsenic, radium, quicksilver (mercury), iron, lead, fluoride as well as many other chemicals and noxious substances. Despite its enormous filtering power, the diaphragm should exclusively be used for drinking water, as it is not suitable for water of poor or uncertain quality.
