Each day, water usage from the previous seven days is analyzed by the microprocessor to predict the amount of water needed for the next day. If the softener does not have enough softened water remaining, it will regenerate. In addition, if there are changes to the water usage pattern, the computer makes adjustments and only regenerates when needed. This allows for a more efficient water softening system. The Autotrol 268/460i does not come with a cover, bypass, or plumbing adapters.
