Akvafors CF is used to purify water from organic substances, the so-called humus substances, which are found in swamp water or upper groundwater. As a result, the filter removes from the water natural organic compounds (humic and fulvic acids and their salts), organo-iron compounds, heavy metals, ammonium ions, reduced color and permanganate oxidability. The restoration of the capacity of the ion-exchange charge (regeneration) is performed by backwashing with the initial water and washing with a solution of NaCl salt.
It is necessary to add that with the help of the CF series installations, all the problems associated with the presence of water in the above listed impurities are ensured, namely, color, smell, unpleasant taste. This model of the filter was developed for the purpose of water treatment not only separately, but also as a part of systems of complex water purification. The filter works automatically, the filtering ability is restored by flushing with reverse current of water and is carried out at a specified interval, at a convenient time.
Regeneration does not require the use of chemical reagents. In order to optimize the operation of the filter (reducing the load on the filter in case of peak performance, in order to flush with clean water, etc.), it is possible to use storage tanks and other additional equipment.
The filter is fully automated, regeneration occurs by washing the resin with a solution containing a large amount of salt. - Filter housing (filter column). The column is made of food-grade fiberglass, without seams, which ensures maximum strength and corrosion resistance. The body is a hollow cylinder with a dome-shaped top and bottom. The case is mounted on a stand. At the top there is a neck for loading and unloading.
