Aeration process, water purification by aeration
Often water treatment systems with iron removal function are equipped with additional aeration columns. They are used as contact chambers in which the process of oxygenation of water is carried out. Due to this, the manganese and iron contained in the water are oxidized, and the gases dissolved in this water are displaced.

Aeration device
Aeration columns consist of a compressor, a separation tank, a water flow sensor and a device for removing excess gas. The air mixture enters the column with a compressor.
Air bubbles penetrate the layers of liquid, then the air valve releases excess air. Thus, the water is naturally oxygenated. Aeration columns can be used independently, or as an integral part of various water purification systems.

Benefits of using aeration columns
An effective and easy way to remove iron from water
The basis of deferrization and water purification of water is the aeration process, it does not require the use of additional reagents. Getting into the capacity of the aeration column, oxygen oxidizes manganese and iron, displaces dissolved gases (for example, hydrogen sulfide) from the water.

High performance
Saturation of water with oxygen carried out with the help of an aeration column is the most effective method, because the process of aeration of water does not depend on the pressure in the water supply network. Thanks to the water flow sensor, the compressor starts even with low water consumption.

Ease of service
Aeration columns, aeration units do not have filtering material inside, so they do not need periodic flushing.

For the effective operation of the aeration system, the following conditions are required:
