Waterboss 900 is an universtal system,which combines in itself a mechanical self-cleaning filter, iron-remover and water softener. WaterBoss is an evolutionary step in water-purification systems. The range of technologies is used in WaterBoss, which makes it unique. Main of which is a construction of a patented control valve, a super-small ion-exchange resin,an innovative constructio of drainage distribution system. High reliability provided with the minimum quantity of the moving parts.
This system at a present moment is the most compact and effective on the market of cottage and apatment water purification. Usually for the installation of the water-treatment equipment is required a reserve of a special place at the stage of the object planning.And if by any reason it didn't happen, "to put" the water purification system into the ready project can be too problematic. The unique compactness,modern design and high exploitatation characteristics makes it possible to use WaterBoss 700 even where the special place for it wasn't planned beforehand. The other advantage – the extremely small amount of water is consumed on regeneration,which is very important in the presence of local sewerage and a water meter. The WaterBoss softening and iron removal system is simple and easy to maintain, and also outperforms the other water softeners in all major categories.Once installed, the system only requires to be filled up with salt from time to time.
An ion exchange resin:In softners WaterBoss is used a monodisperse ion exchange resin with a grain diameter of about 0.2 mm. The narrow fractional compound,combined with a small size of the granules,allows to get a sorptional (ion-exchange) environment with a very low hydrodynamic resistance and with very high kinetics of the ion exchange reaction. The use of such ion-exchange resin in usual bulk columns is impossible, as the standard "slits" on the outlet and inlet of the column have a slit size of 0,5 mm. The design: An ion-exchange resin in WaterBoss densely packed between two polymer meshes with a cell size of 20 μm and an area close to the column diameter. Due to this the parasite congestive volumes of the resin are absent, not involved in the performance of a filter. The effectiveness of regeneration: In a system WaterBoss countercurrent regeneration "in a clamped bed" is implemented, which is impossible with free filling of resin due to the floating effect. This achieves a significant - up to 70% - salt saving during the regeneration.
