The Aquafor-ULTRA ultrafiltration system is a new level of water treatment, which allows providing previously inaccessible degree of purification. In fact, it is mechanical filtration through the porous walls of special hollow fibers (“microtubules”). The pore size is 5-10 nm (nanometers), which provides a physical barrier between contaminated and purified water.
What filters Aquaphor-ULTRA
♦ any precipitation and impurities visible to the eye;
♦ turbidity;
♦ colloidal iron;
♦ organic macromolecules - for example,
humic acids (humates);
bacteria
viruses (virus size ranges from 12 to 300 nm.);
Giardia cysts and other intestinal parasites.
At the same time, the Aquaphor-ULTRA system does not change the salt composition of water. The Aquafor-ULTRA ultrafiltration system is applicable wherever it is necessary to ensure the highest water quality. Without changing the salt composition, it is able to provide the highest organoleptic characteristics, such as color and turbidity, as well as to prevent pathogens from entering the treated water, having stood in their way an insurmountable barrier.
