Turbidex is a zeolite that filters much better than any other similar material in a wide pH range. Chemical name: clinoptilolite, calcite, sodium aluminosilicate.
Turbidex is ideal for purifying water from sediment to a level of 3-5 microns. In the period between regenerations, it removes 3 times more sediment from the water than a sand filter. Thus, the volume of the filter layer can be reduced up to 3 times. The precipitate is retained by the entire surface of the granules, which lengthens the time of operation of the filtration layer without regeneration, and this in turn allows us to significantly save washing water.
Turbidex allows you to provide a greater rate of fluid flow (up to 2 times), and the removal of suspended solids with a diameter of 6–8 times less than ordinary sand!
At the same time, the volume of the filter bed is almost three times less than in the case of ordinary sand.
