Puresin PC002 - gel strongly acid cation exchange resin for water softening based on polystyrene.
It has a high capacity and homogeneous particle size distribution; it can be used in both industrial and domestic water treatment. The resin removes calcium and magnesium ions from water, replacing them with sodium ions. After the capacity is depleted, it may be subject to regeneration with a solution of sodium chloride. The subsequent capacity of the resin is related to the dose of salt used in the regeneration.
